100+ Sad Songs That Make You Cry

(It’s True) Sad Songs Make You Cry

Sad songs can be a cathartic and emotional experience for listeners, and many great sad songs have been written over the years.  The odd thing about sad songs is that they can also be happy songs. That song that meant everything good with the old girlfriend can make you cry with the opening notes today.
Sometimes that sad song can indicate an upcoming hope or desire to climb out of that sad situation. I’ve always believed we’d never appreciate the good stuff without the sad stuff.

Everything ever created by man has been made so by some driven need he didn’t have.
Or to impress a girl.

It’s always about something we don’t have and must work to achieve. Sad songs can be the stuff that fuels our dreams to become a reality.
